George Stuart is a historian – not well known but well loved by his fans.  Not only does he have a talent for making history interesting and accessible while breaking complicated stories down to their essentials, he is an accomplished figurine maker.   His incredibly realistic and historically accurate "dolls" are 1/4 size.

I've never been known to play with dolls,  and I'm not even that into dragons, if you want the truth.  But I'm sort of a fan of George Stuart and I see that he is making figurines related to the Germanic tribes.  …   That means he's planning on doing lectures on these people.   And I see an Egyptian in the mix too, so maybe this might not be lame.
